Update: Sobek`s Posts in Category plugin v1.9
You may already have noticed the v1.9 update of Sobek`s Posts in Category which allows you to display the date of posting for each entry of the list you produce with the plugin. Also there are some syntax changes and, hopefully, 1 so-called “bugfix”.

Hello, this is a great plugin, but I’m having an issue that the plugin is including one of my pages along with the list of posts. I’m not sure why this is happening since I don’t have my pages linked to any categories.
Could you maybe help me fix this? Thanks.

Well, you may call it a bug or a feature, but all posts that are assigned to the basic category “uncategorized” will be displayed with the pages. A simple workaround is to create another category and move the posts there.

Well that’s confusing because I don’t use the “uncategorized” category. The problem I’m having is that I have 1 specific post category I list on my sidebar, but I’m having pages that are getting added to it as well. The weird thing about it is that not all the pages are being show in the sidebar, just some of the more recent ones.
This is the command I’m using.
Could this be because the category is also my “default” category so the pages are being tagged with that same category even though WP doesn’t actually let you assign categories to pages?

Yes, whatever it’s called I am referring to the basic category. Technically there is little difference between a page and a post of the basic category.
